Mortgage Net Branch Kentucky
What does a net branch manager do in Kentucky?
If you are thinking about opening a mortgage net branch in Kentucky, or if you have been offered such a position, knowing what a branch manager does and what your duties will consist of is pretty important. While they vary from state to state, and even from mortgage company to mortgage, the general duties for running a KY net branch are basically the same.
- You're responsible for the people who work under you.
These may be people you hire and train or they may be those that were brought on by the larger mortgage company. Either way, you will see that they are performing their duties as they should be. If they aren't, you will be responsible for handling discipline or termination in accordance with your "home office" policies and state employment regulations.
The number of people for whom you are responsible may vary. A small net branch in Kentucky may consist of you and one other person or you may be at a location with ten or more employees.
- You make sure the mortgage net branch is being operated in accordance with all Kentucky and Federal rules and regulations.
This includes the ones set forth by the larger mortgage company, as well as any state and federal regulations. This shouldn't be too hard, though, because after all you do work for the "home office" and you must be given access and training on these rules and regulations. Further, you can direct any questions or concerns you may have to the person or persons in the "main office" who is responsible for answering or acknowledging them.
You want to learn as much as you can so that you can work as independently as possible, but remember that you're still part of that larger mortgage company when running a mortgage net branch in the state of Kentucky.
